About Grailr
We built Grailr because the watch market needed transparency. Pricing data was scattered across dealer sites, auction results, and forum threads — and verifying a watch's authenticity meant trusting whoever happened to be selling it.
What Grailr Does
Grailr technology suggests a watch brand, model and possible reference from a photo. The result includes inferred specifications and an indicative value estimate. Check the suggested reference against the watch and official documentation before relying on it.
A Grailr scan does not certify authenticity, inspect the movement or provide a professional appraisal. Its confidence score describes the proposed identification, not the probability that a watch is genuine. Available eBay listings provide separate asking-price context; they are not completed sales.
Collectors and dealers can use Grailr as a starting point for research. Physical condition, originality, service needs and documentation require further checks and can materially change value.
What We Believe
Estimates Clearly Labelled
Grailr value estimates and active asking prices have different meanings. Neither establishes a completed sale or a guaranteed resale value.
Trust Through Transparency
We explain what the identification confidence score means and where further verification is needed.
Instant Access
A clear photo offers a starting point for watch research, with suggested matches to investigate.
Built for Speed
Suggested identifications, indicative estimates and marketplace links help organize your research. Results and listing availability vary.
Our Data Sources
Grailr technology uses third-party artificial intelligence models for photo analysis and estimates, alongside reference lookups and marketplace tools. The result separates generated estimates from marketplace research:
- Grailr estimates — an indicative range based on the suggested identification, not a transaction-derived valuation
- eBay active listings — asking prices where listings are available. They do not show what buyers ultimately paid
- Marketplace searches — outbound links to sites such as Chrono24 and Jomashop. A search link does not mean Grailr has ingested their prices
Marketplace inventory and asking prices change. Check the destination listing for condition, currency, fees, availability and seller terms. We may earn a commission from affiliate links.
Editorial Sources and Corrections
Grailr publishes AI-assisted watch research under the Grailr name. Guides link to manufacturer specifications and service policies where relevant. We do not claim to have physically tested or authenticated every watch discussed.
Price ranges in editorial guides are orientation, not live quotes or a verified transaction index. Confirm the exact reference, condition, region and date against current sources. Publication dates are not a guarantee that every price remains current.
